Alarms, sensors, and special locks are all fine ways to protect your car from thieves. But you know what would probably be more effective? Turning your automobile into an unattractive hunk of junk. As seen below, an owner of a Volkswagen Transporter tasked Clyde’s Wraps in Glasgow to cover his van in vinyl that made it look like it’s smothered in rust. It looked too realistic that the driver of the van got pulled over by policemen to ask what’s the deal with his rusty ride. That, of course, is a sign that it totally worked. Prevention is better than cure, they say, and it certainly applies in this case.
