Classical Art and Pop Culture in 8-Bit

Today’s generation might recognize this type of pop art as a technique reminiscent of today’s hottest game Minecraft but to Generation X’ers, it goes way back to the long gone days of Atari. Adam Lister (previous) brings us a 2016 edition of some classical paintings and pop culture characters reimagined as 8-Bit pixelated versions in watercolor. The geometrical depictions of each image hold true to the authentic color and placement so as not to lose what makes the original so famous and familiar to everyone who sees them.
