Collaborative Art Through Sugar Cubes

Professional sculptors Brendan Jamison and Mark Revels seek to bring people together through creative means and they found the sweetest way to do it. In the traveling exhibition suitably named “Sugar Metropolis,” the duo unloads 500,000 sugar cubes in a designated space and invites the public to erect a sprawling city. In building upon each other’s creations, they wish to engage people through art to improve their environment and to enhance social interaction within the community. Their next destination will bring them to the ground floor of a new Broadway Housing development in the Sugar Hill district of Harlem in New York.
