Little Lost Project by Zoonzin

Art student Yoonjin Lee knows a thing or two about personification. With “The Little Lost Project,” Lee, who goes by the nickname Zoonzin, goes around New York City picking up tossed items, takes them home, and creates a personalized placard for them to ‘hold.’ Each displaced object is then brought back to an inconspicuous location holding adorable signs telling people how they really feel. Some exhibit sadness such as the lip balm sitting atop a street post holding a sign saying “Once upon a time, I was someone’s cute lip balm,” while others cry out “Help! I’m lost” The little homeless objects are sure to garner a smile from passersby who will hopefully think twice about careless littering and appreciate their possessions a little bit more.
