Family Tree Series Proves ‘The Nut Doesn’t Fall Far From the Tree’

We’ve all heard the old adage ‘two peas in a pod’ and American photographer Bobby Neel Adams couldn’t have demonstrated it better with the series ‘Family Tree.’ Taking photos of two family members holding the same pose, the Arizona-based photographer used film to develop the images without any kind of digital manipulation and simply tore the portraits in half and glued them back together to create the composite images. The semblance between family members are unmistakable and the montages are a testament to how much DNA is at play when it comes to those coming from the same genetic pool.
