Hong Kong’s Overpopulation Seen From Above

China’s overpopulation is usually evident in images of crowded city streets and people working in packed factories but Andy Yeung brings us a different perspective of the country’s overwhelming issue. The Hong-Kong based photographer used a drone outfitted with a wind-angle lens to capture Hong Kong’s skyscrapers from dizzying heights for the series “Urban Jungle.” Of 23.7% of Hong Kong’s land, only 6.8% is available for housing so it’s no surprise that the only way is up for the city’s 7 million residents.
