“Planet Earth” is Set to Make Our Jaws Drop Yet Again
It’s been 10 years since the original Planet Earth first made our jaws drop but get ready to watch nature and wildlife in all its splendor yet again on Planet Earth II. Captured in UHD (ultra high-def), the landmark tv series gives unprecedented aerial views through the use of drones and offers up-close details with the help of small cameras, both of which were unavailable when the original series first aired. Together with a dramatic and original score by legendary composer Hans Zimmer and narrated by the distinct voice of naturalist Sir David Attenborough, the documentary 3.5 years in the making is must-watch TV. The seven-part series premieres February 18 and will be multi-cast on BBC America, AMC, and SundanceTV.
