Pothole Filled Roads Repaired with Mosaics in Chicago

Having just come off the back of one of the nastiest winters in three decades, it has been estimated that the streets of Chicago have been left with over half a million potholes. An industrious artist named Jim Bachor has taken it upon himself to fill them with original tile mosaics. Some are inspired by the design of the Chicago flag, others simply read “POTHOLE,” and a few have phone numbers of local auto-repair shops, which have no doubt been kept busy by cars striking those gaping cracks.
