Potholes Filled With Artful Sweets Just in Time for Summer

Just in time for summer, Jim Bachor (PREVIOUS) is up to his old tricks again and the city of Chicago and the streets of Jyväskylä, Finland is so much better for it. The street artist who makes his hometown the basis for most of his projects launches his latest pothole-fixing series ‘Treats in the Streets.’ Featuring mosaics of delectable ice-creams and popsicles made with colorful pieces of glass and marble, the craftsmanship of his artwork is never lost even while knowing it’s covering an ugly and dangerous eye-sore on the street. Improving everyday life while injecting playful art into the city scene, Bachor brings a refreshing take on street art. Visit his website to find a map on where to find all his art installations.
