Replicating Objects With Wooden Dowels and Glue

Janusz Grünspek replicates everyday items to scale reminiscent of blueprint drawings with Zeichnungen im Raum (Drawings in Space). Constructed with nothing but wooden dowels and some glue, the German artist created the 2011 series prior to the advent of 3d pens but the idea of transparency is quite similar. The skill and artistry applied to each carefully bent thin pieces of wood show Grünspek’s dedication to his amazing craftsmanship.
