Skateboarder Dreams Big. Floating Ramp Created.

Visit California asked professional skateboarder Bob Burnquist to dream big and do something completely new. The result was a floating skateboard ramp in the middle of Lake Tahoe, California. Designers and builders Jerry Blohm and Jeff King took four days to construct the ramp. They faced challenges such as leakage, weight and construction materials. Thankfully it didn’t end up at the bottom of the lake. Burnquist loved the ramp so much he wants another one built in his home country.
