This Soundboard Is on Fire. Gotta See.
Sound waves are used for amazing things like echolocation, Cymatics and breaking down the walls of Jericho. Derek Muller of science video blog Veritasium features another application courtesy of the “physics and chemistry demonstrators” from Fysikshow. They created a 2D Rubens’ tube that showcased the effect of sound waves traveling through flammable gas. Check out the video, the results are phenomenal.
