Visually Appealing Kiosks of the Future

Make Architects unveiled a new kiosk design at London’s Canary Wharf Ice Sculpting Festival. The concept was to present the best possible structure for vendors and add visual character to the streetscape at the same time. It needs to be robust, durable, easily maintained and impervious to graffiti and vandalism. The result is an origami-based configuration where aluminum folds and hinges facilitate the structure’s expansion and contraction. The prefabricated box is easily transportable, making it appealing to vendors who want to stay ahead of the competition strategically and visually.
