X-ray Make Cheap Toys Look Cool

Cheap toys guarantee nothing other than a fleeting novelty and yet another addition to the heaping mountain of playthings children receive nowadays. Brendan Fitzpatrick aims to turn this around by making art out of toys instead of toe-stubbers for grownups. The Australian photographer uses both chest X-ray and mammogram machines to create an extraordinary visual unattainable by any other technique. As part of a new series titled Invisible Light, Fitzpatrick gives us a glimpse of what toys, flowers and creatures look like when viewed in transparency. The ethereal quality of the images almost seem to glow with the help of the medical equipments.
