A Greenhouse Filled With Anything But Plants

At first glance, the humble greenhouse in the garden of Lust and the Apple Gallery in Temple, Scotland looks like it’s brimming with abundant plant-life but a visit inside tells another story. Aptly titled ‘Fruitless,’ Swiss/Danish duo PUTPUT creates a quirky art installation where they ‘planted’ different items in various shades of green into soil-filled pots. Seeing everyday objects like a toilet cleaner, fly swatter, and hair brushes among other mundane items sprouting from the planters puts them in a different light that makes us rethink twice about possibly giving these items much more credit and glorification than we currently do.
