Coca Cola Gets Green

Coca Cola joins the green revolution by offering the people of Vietnam a way to upcycle their empty Coke bottles by turning them into something fun and useful. The famous brand partnered with Ogilvy & Mather China to come up with the ingenious “2nd Lives” campaign as a way to encourage and inspire people to think of alternative ways to reuse disposable items. By offering 16 screw-on caps in none other than Coca Cola red, an empty bottle can turn into a pencil sharpener, a shampoo dispenser, and as a paint sponge among others. An initial distribution of 40,000 free bottle caps will be distributed free with soda purchases throughout the year with the intent to roll out later in Thailand and Indonesia.
