Multitude of Nude Bodies Form This Feather

Angelo Musco created images of feathers delicately floating in the wind but a closer look reveals things aren’t always what it seems with ‘Aves.’ The New York-based Italian artist photographed thousands of models in the buff and used Photoshop to rearrange and adjust the tones of each linked body forming each fragile strand. Famous for using nude bodies to create surreal landscapes, Musco’s latest project features a juxtaposition between the lightness of a feather and the layered multitude of human bodies each is made up of. Aves is currently on display in the Mayfair Exhibition at Lyon Wier Gallery in New York from now through May 23.
