Psychogeography Captures Soul of Culture in Glass

Sometimes I’d try to imagine what the spirit of a city looks like. It would be made up of the culture of that city, namely its people, local items and whatever else defines its persona. Brooklyn based artist, Dustin Yellin does that in a process called Psychogeography. Taking his “toy box” of everything he finds on the street, he composes them into three-dimensional collages sealed behind resin. Combining clippings, painted things, dead things, he creates a frozen dynamism of culture encased in massive see through blocks.
